A drone for peaceful use

Exploring the rivers and mountains with a drone is one of the most exciting experiences for nature lovers and aerial photography enthusiasts. It allows us to see familiar places from a new angle and reach views that would otherwise be inaccessible. Here are some of the rules we follow:
Preparation Before the Flight
We check the weather forecast – strong wind is definitely not OK. We prefer sunny weather, but it’s not mandatory.
It’s essential that the batteries are fully charged and the drone is in perfect condition; this should be checked the night before.
We review the map of the area and plan the route – even if we don’t follow it strictly, having a plan is a good starting point for the flight.
Following the Rules
In Bulgaria there are regulations for flying a drone – no entering protected areas, military zones, or places with restricted access.
We maintain visual contact with the drone at all times. Technically, it can fly beyond our line of sight, but it’s not recommended.
Respect for Nature
We avoid disturbing people and wildlife – the drone’s noise can stress them if it flies too low.
We leave the place exactly as we found it – the drone should never be a reason for disrupting order or cleanliness.
Photography and Videography
We use smooth movements and slow turns for more cinematic shots.
We love filming during sunrise or sunset, when the light is softest.
We combine different altitudes and angles to capture the scale of the mountain.
Safe Return
We constantly monitor the battery level; in the mountains the drone often consumes more energy due to wind and lower temperatures.
We return in time, before losing signal or visibility.
We review the captured footage, prepare the videos, and get ready for the next flight.
